Matt Baker was an artist from what I call "The Atomic Age" of comics. Books that were published after WW2 yet before the Silver Age. Yea, these are the comics that got the Angry Muthers of America and The Bible Thimpin' Preachers & misguided Psycho Theripist along with a gaggle of other pollyanna Do- Gooder, panties in a bunch..... Anyway, Baker was just about as good as it got when your talkin about drawin' sexy broads, very few rivaled him.....mabey Wally Wood or Frazetta, thats about it. slightly below them on the Boner-Ramma rating system you got your, Jack Kamen's & Bill Everete's & Bill Ward"s..... The guys & Gals over at Fiction House did a good job also....hell Quality Comics, Jack Cole's Real Good Girl Art wouldn't evolve until he got out of the comicbook industry.....Bla, Bla BLA bla Blah.... Baker was Great! That's about all you need to know for now.
